Who participates?

To participate in NuP Aktiv, it is a precondition

• that one’s permanent residence is situated in Lower Austria
• to be registered as “unemployed” or “long time-unemployed” at the AMS (employment centre)

If these two preconditions are given, the regional AMS-office decides in a more detailed way, if a certain person can really be supported by this project. If there is a positive decision, the person, who is interested in participating in NuP Aktiv, can be invited to a job interview.
These interviews normally take place in spring (February to April). After that, the chosen employees can begin their work for NuP Aktiv.
