Nature and Landscape Interpretation

The objective of this course is to gain the necessary basic knowledge for the successful planning and realization of experience-oriented events concerning ‘nature and landscape’.

The course is offered every year – the current dates, costs and places can be found on the German homepage.

ORGANISER:
LFI Styria, in cooperation with the Association of Austrian Nature Parks.

TARGET GROUP:
Inhabitants and staff of the Austrian Nature Park regions, farmers, teachers and those interested in nature.

CONTENT/TOPICS:

	Basics and methods of teaching through experience and environmental didactics
	Basic knowledge about natural and cultural matters necessary for nature and landscape guides
	Planning, pricing and organization of events
	Development of demand and marketing
	Communication and presentation
	Dealing with groups
	Legal basics, as well as relevant questions concerning insurance and taxes
	Appreciation and knowledge of different landscapes
