Embedded in a mountain wreath which encloses the region like a precious stone there lies the Nature Park Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen. With romantic villages and idyllic pond sceneries and marshy landscapes the scenery stamped from the last ice age offers a special resting place of nature. The new basic idea of the region is called “Learn to read Nature”, which invites people to find out about the secrets of nature and asks to look more exactly, to understand and use it.
