Almenland
Extended Nativness
Styria’s youngest park, the Almenland is embedded between the Teichalm and the Sommeralm. It lies 550 – 1,720 m above sea level. Particularities of the region are the wide pastures since it does not have any connection points to any high mountains which make it unique in Europe.
Extensive wooden areas, green landscapes with rock walls and ravines do lend the wide supalpine alms its character.
