Seebenstein
The quiet pearl of the Pittental
Where the Türkensturz, as a striking rock, sticks out over the Pittental and the Castle Seebenstein thrones over the village, lay the two Nature Parks Seebenstein and Türkensturz. This is in the southeast of Lower Austria, at the border of the “Buckligen Welt“. These parks are marked by a rich mosaic landscape of wet woodlands, small room oak-beech woods and black pinewoods. The Nature Park Seebenstein comprises of an extended wood area above the village of the same name. In the village area of Seebenstein lays a flat park landscape with ideal opportunities for relaxing walks – even with prams or wheelchairs.
