Ötscher-Tormäuer

Wild gorges in the land of bears

The centre of the biggest Nature Park of Lower Austria, well known as a paradise for walkers, is formed by the mountain Ötscher (1893m), the highest peak in the southwest Mostviertel. Amazing gorges and waterfalls are dug through the limestone mountains, whose slopes are covered with extensive woods and wide alms with wonderful alpine flora.
