Jauerling-Wachau
Great pleasure at the roof of the Danube
960 m rises the Jauerling - actually the highest mountain at the Danube. It connects the regions UNESCO world heritage Wachau and the Waldviertel. The free-fluent Danube, impressive valleys, stone terraces, wine-growing and fruit-growing, meadows and oak woods as well as the cattle economy form the Nature Park. Picturesque castles improve the scenery.
