The Nature Park Hochmoor – a wonderful quiet moor landscape – situated in the northwestern Waldviertel, east of the granite town of Schrems. Derived from former peat workings, you will find here various stages of advanced moor. The „heavens ladder", a 20-metre-high view platform, guarantees special insights into the fascinating moor scenery. regeneration stages and moor ponds.
