Between Heavens (ladder) and (moor) Earth
The Nature Park Hochmoor – a wonderful quiet moor landscape – situated in the northwestern Waldviertel, east of the granite town of Schrems. Derived from former peat workings, you will find here various stages of advanced moor and moor ponds. The „heavens ladder", a 20-metre-high view platform, guarantees special insights into the fascinating moor scenery.
