Neusiedler See – Leithagebirge
In the Pannonian garden - between the Alps and Puszta
The sheer variety of landscape elements that are to be found in this small area creates the uniqueness of this part of the Neusiedlersee. Vineyards between high terraces made of limestone, the broad reed beds of Europe’s largest steppeland lake together with mixed woods, dry meadows and water meadows form a rich and varied picture of a landscape. Additional to all these are the many cultural historical sights that are also to be found here.
