Day tourism in harmony with Nature Parks - chances, potentials and nature-acceptable offers with main focus on local recreation
| The Nature Park Buchberg and the Association of Austrian Nature Parks invited on the 12th of November 2010 to the convention „Day tourism in harmony with Nature Parks - chances, potentials and nature-acceptable offers with main focus on local recreation“ to Mattsee. After the welcome speech of Bgm. Matthäus Maislinger the Nature Park was introduced by Uwe Grinzinger (Manager Nature Park Buchberg). With beautiful pictures the participants made a short journey through the Nature Park and the region despite the rainy weather. |

For Nature Parks near city regions local recreation is very important. It was an intend of the convention to show possibilities how Nature Parks can provide touristic offers and achieve added value in harmony with the Nature Park philosophy, even if the guests only stay for a short time.
In different presentations experts from Austria and foreign countries had the possibility to approach the subject from different angles.
